Join Us For An Evening with Best-Selling Author Joan Nathan
The Milky Way Restaurant is thrilled to announce a one-night-only dinner with best-selling author Joan Nathan in collaboration with Executive Chef Phil Kastel! Join us Tuesday, December 10 at 6:30PM for a celebratory menu inspired by recipes from Joan’s award-winning My Life In Recipes and the soon-to-be-released update of her beloved family cookbook A Sweet Year. Enjoy a family-style, three-course meal prepared by Chef Kastel and team as Joan shares the stories behind the recipes and learn about her personal journey discovering Jewish cuisine from around the world.
Dubbed the “Queen of American Jewish Cooking,” Joan Nathan is a frequent contributor to The New York Times and other publications. She is the author of twelve books, including Jewish Cooking in America and The New American Cooking, both of which won the James Beard Award and the IACP Award; alone with King Solomon’s Table, which won an IACP Award and a Gourmand World Cookbook Award.
Tickets are $95 per person and include a family-style, three-course meal and an evening of storytelling as Joan shares the stories from her personal journey discovering Jewish cuisine from around the world.
