Framed by a tour guide (voiced by Allison Janney) in a film museum, the story tracks misfits James and Henry while their tribe searches for an evil boss to serve. Arriving in 1920s Los Angeles, the Minions stumble onto a movie set and become massive silent film stars due to their slapstick talent.
