TThe Milky Way Restaurant is thrilled to announce a one-night-only dinner with Executive Chef, recipe developer and cookbook author Glenda Galván-García on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 6:30PM


With a vast culinary experience, Glenda has spent the past 15 years as Executive Chef at LA's popular Granville Restaurants, in addition to consulting and developing recipes for major companies such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Mission Tortillas, Driscoll’s Berries, La Salsa, Farmer John and more. Join us as we celebrate publication of her debut cookbook, The Whole Enchilada. Covering everything from snacks to main dishes, desserts and drinks, this bilingual book combines her love of her Chicano / Latino heritage and her mission to teach young people the proud, yet little known history of the Latino culinary tradition.

 

Enjoy a collaborative menu by Glenda and Milky Way Executive Chef Phil Kastel, inspired by her recipes. Tickets are $65 per person and include a family-style, three-course meal and an evening with Glenda as she shares the stories behind the recipes and so much more. The evening will be moderated by friend of the restaurant and SoCal Restaurant Show Host Andy Harris.


Copies of The Whole Enchilada will be available for purchase, or bring in your own copy to be signed by the author. 10% of all the evening’s proceeds will benefit The ACLU.
